Aluminium Round Bar is made up of aluminum alloys that have different contents. There are commercially pure types and alloy types. Navstar Steel is a supplier and manufacturer of the Aluminium Round Bar products in various grades, types and specifications. The alloys often contain manganese, copper, magnesium, silicon, zinc and tin in addition to aluminum in the composition.
There are heat treatable and non – heat treatable alloys. The 5083 Aluminum Rod is made up of an alloy that has magnesium in it. There are chromium and manganese elements in trace quantities. The material has good strength even after welding. The 5086 Aluminum Flat Bar is made up of a magnesium alloy of aluminum that is non – heat treatable. But it could be hardened further by strain hardening processing or cold mechanical working. This is also a readily weldable aluminum alloy.
The Aluminium 5052 Hex Bar is strong due to the addition of magnesium and chromium in the composition. The material has up to 290MPa minimum tensile strength. This can also operate under high temperatures as the melting point of the material is at 607 degrees Celsius. We have a large Aluminum 7075 Bar Stock and other grades of aluminum bars in stock. Machine parts and light weight equipment are made from aluminum. Due to the high heat resistance, high oxidation resistance and lightweight of the material, it is used mostly in aerospace and aerospace related industries.
