A new steel pipe sheet pile composite foundation method called "Hyper-Well SP" was developed for application to a large-scale bridge. The structural characteristics and workability of the new method were verified in various experiments, and a design method was established. "Hyper-Well SP," which features high rigidity, was applied for the first time in the foundation of the Tokushima-Higashi-Kanjo-Ohashi, and construction of one section has already been completed.
